Brattleboro, VT

Marble was last seen on August 27, 2011, at 2:00PM by his roommate who saw Marble leave with an unknown male that came to their house.

Marble left a note stating he was with the “Gremlin Hoard” and would be back in 30 minutes. Marble was an avid hiker and took his hiking boots with him. It is possible Marble became a victim of Tropical Storm Irene.

Sightings of Marble have been reported in the Brattleboro area, but he has not been located.

Have the family considered reaching out to a nationally televised show (such as "Disappeared" on I.D. Discovery channel)? It might regenerate leads. Also with the term "Gremlin Hoard", such a unusual name of a group, other people might know who or what this might. My thoughts and prayers are with family and friends.

Sigrid I always keep you and Marble in my prayers. I look for him everywhere I go in bratt and surrounding areas.💗😢

Thanks Kathleen Shroueder, Nows a good time to ask the police chief what’s the status?? They don’t say ‘cold case’... but squeaky wheel gets grease~ All blessing you & yours, Sigrid

Thanks everyone for your good thoughts & collective desire for Marble being re-united with us who know & love & miss him everyday.... also everyone whose become aware & reach out even if you have yet to know him. To date, all ‘sightings’ and/or tips have been followed.... without a trace. Thank you for continuing to keep eyes open & for him. I’m Marbles Mom, Sigrid Arvidson & yes, it’s been terrible without him or any indication of his presence... we long to know & find out what he was doing that turned into something else. Our family is very dedicate & involved in investigating his whereabouts ongoing as well as in communication with the police & National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.I wish he has been found, & rumors abound. To date, not a trace~ any communication, a shoe, or anyone stepping up with information of what happened that day or the next.....

Any updates?!

Thxs

Sigrid Arvidson here, Marbles Mom: Thanks for recent posting here checking on Marbles whereabouts... if you’re like me, this poster brings ya to your knees & tears flow. Love is love & friends are friends... something like this happens, part of us seems to just hold our breath. To update this thread~ it’s 7 years now, & please share any info with our family &/or the police. Maybe calling the police will spark a revival in their search efforts, investigation of the description given by his roommate, so please do! Maybe a review of the information can inform new questions or memories as to what happened at the time. Thanks for continuing to care about where Marble is & talking about him. All blessings, Sigrid~🌷🌷🌷

Crazy to me that it was admitted, than reported and they couldnt do anything about it... crazy

Whos his mother & father?

Another that haunts me... 😞 so close to home ... I know some of his family

Have the sightings been recently ?

Does his roommate remember what the man looks like maybe a Sketch artist would help

Had him in class he was a real nice kid. Lived his hat.

Yeah have they been recent

I thought they found him in the woods off a trail?
