Troopers found the body near Rodney Davis' home on Oct. 7 but were awaiting the results of an autopsy to determine the person's identity.

The remains of a woman who went missing while trying to cross the border into Canada nine months ago have been found in Orleans County.

Right now, police do not have a positive ID on the set of remains found. The body has been taken to Burlington for an autopsy and to confirm the name of the victim.
