UNIDENTIFIED IN # NEWYORK

An unidentified female was found in the #EastRiver, near 57th Street in #NewYorkCity in May of 2000. She had been deceased for several months prior to being found. She would have been 12 to 18 years old, and it’s possible the female may be of Hispanic or mixed ancestry.

The female stood approximately 5’6” tall and weighed around 140 pounds. Her hair and eye color are unknown. The female was found wearing olive colored cargo pants with drawstring waist and cuffs (U.F.O. brand), a blue sports bra (Champion brand), blue paisley boxer shorts, white ankle socks, and a t-shirt with an image of a cartoon skunk, for #SkunkJam Records, on the front and the words “Perfect Thyroid” written out on the back. “Perfect Thyroid” is a band that plays in the tri-state area. The female was also found wearing an elastic green boot blouse on her left wrist.

The images shown are a facial reconstruction completed by a #NCMEC Forensic Artist and depicts what she may have looked like in life, and the shirt and pants she was found wearing.

Anyone with information should contact New York City Office of Chief Medical Examiner 1-212-447-2770 Case # M00-2559, or The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children @ 1-800-THE-LOST.

TEMPORARY SEARCH SUSPENSION:

MISSING: Maleah Davis – Houston, Texas (5/03/19)

TEMPORARY SEARCH SUSPENSION: Texas EquuSearch has put forth a tremendous amount of effort in the search to find little 4 year-old Maleah Davis. We have been working hand-in-hand with law enforcement investigators, and followed-up on a multitude of tips & leads. We have been basically working around the clock in order to find Maleah. We have followed-up on dozens and dozens of tips & leads, but none have been found to be helpful in leading us in the right area to find Maleah. We will now be temporarily suspending the search for Maleah, but we will continue to work closely with investigators, and follow-up on credible tips & leads. Again this is a temporary suspension, until we can obtain more information that will put us in the right area to find Maleah. We want to thank all of the many hard-working investigators on the case, and our volunteer searchers that have worked so hard to find Maleah.

UPDATE: Thank you for all the inquiries into helping in the continued search for Maleah Davis. Texas EquuSearch crews are currently out following up on tips and canvassing new areas. Please keep Maleah and all of those who love her in your thoughts and prayers as we continue to search for her.

UPDATE: The silver, 2011 Nissan Altima, reported stolen in the Maleah Davis case, has been located. Texas EquuSearch Founder/Director, Tim Miller is on site with HPD. Texas EquuSearch volunteers are still out searching for Maleah at this time. Thank you all for your concern and God bless you all.

SEARCH REACTIVATION NOTICE: There will be a need for Texas EquuSearch members on foot and ATVs to search in some very specific areas to find 4 year-old Maleah Davis at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday – May 9th 2019. Finding the vehicle Maleah was in when she disappeared is a very high priority at this time, and we will be concentrating on finding that vehicle. The search staging area will be located at 9710 S. Kirkwood Rd. in Houston, Texas 77099. Be prepared to be in some wet and muddy areas, and dress appropriately for the forecasted weather conditions. Koy Murphy is your Search Coordinator, and she can be reached at (713) 582-0649.

UPDATE: The search scheduled for 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday – May 8th 2019 to search for Maleah Davis has been suspended until further notice. The areas we had planned to search have been flooded with the recent heavy rains, and this could restrict us from being effective in finding Maleah. Some of the areas are now filled with deep rain water, and this would greatly limit our searchers and accessibility. We will issue a call-out once we plan to resume the search for Maleah. Maleah is an innocent victim, and there is no excuse for anyone causing her disappearance. The rain may slow us, but it won’t stop, or discourage us from finding little Maleah.

UPDATE: The active search for 5 year-old Maleah Davis will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday – May 8th 2019... with the weather permitting. We will be in need of Texas EquuSearch members on foot and ATVs. The search staging area and Command Post will be located at 9710 S. Kirkwood Rd. in Houston, Texas 77099. Please dress appropriately for the forecasted weather conditions, and some unknown, possibly rough, muddy terrain. Bring your own water and snacks if possible. Your search coordinator is Koy Murphy, and she can be reached at (713) 582-0649. Again, we will continue our search for 4 year-old Maleah tomorrow – if the weather permits us to. We will issue another call-out early tomorrow morning to let you know whether we will, or if we won’t be searching tomorrow.

UPDATE: Current Texas EquusSearch Members only please. The active search for 5 year-old Maleah Davis has moved to 9710 S Kirkwood Rd, Houston, TX 77099. We are in need of Texas EquuSearch members on foot and ATVs. Please dress appropriately for the forecasted weather conditions, and some unknown, possibly rough, muddy terrain. Bring your own water and snacks if possible.

UPDATE: The active search for 5 year-old Maleah Davis will resume at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday – May 7th 2019. Maleah recently underwent brain surgery, and is in desperate need of her medications and medical attention. We will be in need of Texas EquuSearch members on foot and ATVs. The search staging area will again be located in the field on the Northwest corner of Hwy. 59 @ Greens Road. This is the West side (or the inbound side) of Highway 59. Please dress appropriately for the forecasted weather conditions, and some unknown, possibly rough, muddy terrain. Bring your own water and snacks if possible. Your search coordinator is Koy Murphy, and she can be reached at (713) 582-0649.

UPDATE: The Houston Police Department has requested the immediate help of Texas EquuSearch in finding four year-old Maleah Davis. The active search for Maleah Davis will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Monday – May 6th 2019. We will be in need of Texas EquuSearch members on foot and ATVs. The search staging area will be located in the field on the Northwest corner of Hwy. 59 @ Greens Road. This is the West side (or the inbound side) of Highway 59.
